Welcome to the Junior Kindergarten Program at Bumble Bee Academy —
a thoughtfully designed learning journey for children aged 4 and up. Inspired by Alberta’s Early Learning and Care Framework, our program blends structured academics with play-based exploration to prepare young minds for Kindergarten and beyond.
A Strong Start for Lifelong Learning
Our Junior Kindergarten program integrates Emergent Curriculum, Montessori principles, STEAM activities, and phonics-based literacy to support each child’s curiosity, creativity, and confidence. There is no nap time, and the day is designed to be active, engaging, and developmentally enriching.

We align our curriculum with Flight: Alberta’s Early Learning and Care Framework, focusing on the holistic development of each child — intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically.
