Infants (12–19 months)
Our littlest bees begin their journey in a calm, nurturing space designed to support emotional security and sensory exploration. Through emergent play and gentle Montessori materials, infants build early connections with the world around them—one curious discovery at a time.
Buzzy
Explorers
Toddlers (19–36 months)
Busy little bees explore their independence through hands-on play, movement, and meaningful routines. Our toddler program follows their emerging interests while introducing Montessori tools that support early self-help
skills, coordination, and
confidence.
Curious Pollinators
Early Preschool (3–4 years)
At this stage, our curious pollinators dive deeper into discovery through open-ended projects, storytelling, and guided learning. We blend emergent themes with Montessori-inspired centers to spark creativity, early numeracy, and language development.
Hive
Ready
Preschool (3.5–5 years)
In the final step before kindergarten, children in our Hive Ready program build strong foundations in literacy, problem-solving, and social collaboration. With a balance of emergent topics and Montessori materials, they gain the confidence and skills to thrive in school and beyond.
FEEs
Child care is offered by the calendar month and fees are to be paid by the 5th day of each month. You can attend as much or as little as you like, but due to demand we only offer a full-time fee.

As part of the child care fee agreement with the Government of Alberta, the Bumble Bee Academy will implement the following updated fees:

Food Cost Recovery Fee
To maintain our high-quality food program, which provides three nutritious, on-site prepared meals daily, the Bumble Bee Childcare has a $120.00 monthly Food Cost Recovery Fee. This fee helps cover food costs, as current government funding does not include food program expenses. Families who choose to opt in will pay a total monthly fee of $446.25 ($326.25 + $120.00).
